Saturday Night

Today has been a long day. Since we are staying with my mom, I think I have mentioned that we are cleaning and decluttering. Well, the process has started. I tackled the bedroom that Ku and I are sleeping in, as well as the closets that are in the hall. Man, you can get so much 'junk' in 16 years. So I threw things away, and took things to the DI. I don't think anyone will miss things. If they haven't been used in the last 2 years, they are GONE. So that was pretty easy. Except when you usually get rid of things, that is when things are needed or missed.

The kids got to play with Noah today. I watched Noah for a couple of hours before Krys got off work. What a sweet kid. Alec played with Lego's, and Noah played with the Train set. And they played together. Ku and I have felt like it has been such a busy day...and tonight we went to Krys's house to have dinner with her and Robby and Noah. We brought the Fruit Salad, and Krystal made a chicken dinner by Rachel Ray. It was good. Then after we put Logan down, for bed, we played a game called Wrong. It was interesting, a question would be read and we would have to answer it with the Wrong answer. for example: What kinda Fruit is on a Banana Split...the answer would be anything but Banana. It is done with a timer so it is kinda stressful till you get the hang of it. I did towards the end.

Tomorrow we start here in the First Ward, and Logan isn't quite 18 mths, but I think I will see if we can take him to nursery. I might wait till next week after the older kids are gone. It is weird, now that Alec is 3, he will be starting Sunbeams in January, so that is what, next week. Crazy!

Friday

Wow, what a week it has been. We are at my parents house now. This is where we will be calling home for awhile. We got here last night. Yesterday, I spent the day cleaning, and packing. Most of our stuff is still in Mtn. Home. We just brought our cloths, and dressers. But someone came over yesterday and bought my Couches, and Piano, and my Kitchen table. It was kinda lonely in my house after these things were gone. So it was better to leave and not worry about it. I do miss my bed, it was the first big purchase that we made after we were married. Oh well, after our house is sold, we will bring it down to Ontario, and hopefully will be able to put it in our room. It is a King, so it makes a difference. My parents only have a queen for us to use. It is a nice bed, but my Hubby is kinda a big guy and takes up a lot of room.

Now the plan is simple, to declutter my mom's house so we can make a wee bit of room for our things. Since they haven't moved for 16 years, almost 17, well it makes for a lot of clutter. The boys have been doing well. This move doesn't seem to effect them yet. They have been moved into the same room, and it hasn't been as hard as I thought it would be. They seem to be doing well. As long as I can get them to go to bed, it is going to work. I am not going to be giving Alec anymore naps, so that he will go to bed right at 7ish, this way he won't keep Logan up. And Logan can get some sleep. It is so far so good. I am sure that his naps are all the way gone, but they are close.

My parents went to visit Ginger in AZ, so this week is kinda a transitional time for Ku and I. He starts School on the 8th, so after he starts school again, he will be able to keep himself busy which is what he needs to do. He is looking for jobs, but the job market is kinda shabby right now.

Our house is on the market in Mtn Home. I sure hope it can sell fast, for we don't have the money to pay for a mortgage that we aren't living in.

Things are good, Ku and I both have had a confirmation that this is where we are suppose to be for awhile. Ku is suppose to get his degree, and Heavenly Father knows it. We just needed to have a swift kick in the head to get it done. I just wish it didn't have to be this drastic of a kick. Oh well, maybe a gentle nudge wouldn't have worked. :)

Christmas Day

WOW, what a day. So much fun, and so many presents. We came to my parents house last night. Was it only yesterday that we came over here on Christmas Eve? Well, yesterday, after church, we spent the afternoon together, then around seven we started our own Christmas Eve Stuff. For the last two years, Ku has been gone on Christmas Eve, so this was quite a treat. Especially since Alec was able to really enjoy this holiday. We sang songs from the Hymnal, and then we read the Christmas Story. It was so nice. We really had a nice time. I will have to invest in a Christmas book about Santa for us. We also took a video pictures of the kids last night. It is going to be a tradition. A tradition that we interview the kids each year at Christmas time, and then as they get older, we will watch the amazing changes that the kids make every year.
This morning we woke up to Alec and Jesiah laughing. We layed Alec down in the same room. So they woke up together at 6am. We kept them in bed till 6:30 then I let them go for it. They first woke up Tutu and Papa, then they went and woke up Nicole and Ket. Then they went downstairs and ohhed and aweed over the Christmas Stockings, and the presents. It was a nice morning. Even though we as a Kahalekomo Family didn't have a lot to exchange, it was still nice. Ku and I didn't spend the money on each other, but we were able to get Alec and Logan a couple of presents the day after Thanksgiving sales. this is before we lost our job. So this was good that we were already done with that stuff. We gave Alec a remote control Hummer, and We gave Logan a small exercise Trampoline. Not so he can exercise, but because he loves to jump up and down, all the time. So this was perfect for him. We also, gave Alec a small tool set cabinet thingy. It is nice because from our good friends in Mtn Home, Nani, she gave Alec some more tools, so it went along perfectly. tutu and Papa gave Alec a Tinker Toys, which he loves because he can build things with them. And They gave Logan a couple of dump trucks. Grandma and Grandpa Warr gave Alec a towel that had Cars on it, and they gave Logan a race car. Which I had to keep away from Alec. Grandma and Grandpa Kahalekomo gave Alec and Logan both remote control cars, and these flashlights that change colors. which they both loved tons. Thank you to everyone shared in making our Christmas wonderful.
We are going back to Mountain Home tomorrow so we can finish patching up the wall in the Laundry Room, and then we are going to come back to Ontario on Thursday. At least that is the plan. This is what we need to do. the sooner Ku can get a job, the better.

Thursday

Well, we are still here in Ontario. We didn't make it back to Mountain Home yet. We just had too many things to do today. So when we were done, it was too late to go home. Also it snowed today, so when we were done, it was dark, and the conditioned weren't good enough to drive in.
I didn't sleep very well last night. i think i must have a cold, or something because I couldn't breath threw my nose, and if you know me, you know that that is my pet peeve. I can't stand not being able to breath threw my nose. So I was away much of the night. Then Alec came in, and well, that was the end of my night. Some how, some way, we need to figure out how to get my king size bed upstairs in this house, even if we are only going to be here for a little while, this queen isn't going to cut it. After we got up, I started to work on a power point for my dad, he has to do a presentation for Ontario City council, hopping to get a good Power Point presentation, I started early. Well, it didn't work out, so after a few hours, it was scrapped. Oh well, I tried. the problem was with the computer, when we tried to update our computers with Windows 2003, we lost some vital info from the original program, so I was unable to use my Power Point in conjunction with the Word program. I think we are going to have to just take everything off, and start over.
All day, Noah has been here playing with Alec. They have had a ton of fun with mom's train set. Thomas the train set, they provided hours of entertainment for Alec and Logan, and Noah. I was so worn out from having the three kids here all day, both my kids went to bed at 7:30pm. so nice. It has been a long day.
Ku has been really busy also, he was busy repacking our belongings that we brought down here from Mountain Home. We bought some plastic storage cases, because who knows how long we will need to store our things. So we bought them, so they would be okay. I am glad that we have them, now our things will be safe from rodents, and other stuff. After Ku repacked our things, he went and got our snow tires on our car. It cost $52 wow, that is a ton of money. Hopefully we won't have to put them on the Focus also. That would be $52 on and off x 2. wow, that is WAY too much money. So after he finished doing that, we feed the kids and put them in the baths, then to bed. Oh yea.
Tomorrow, we need to head back to Mountain Home. We still need to take the trailer to Les Swabb to fix the tires. Then we will head back. we are leaving the computers here, so I won't sign on again till after Christmas.

Wednesday

Wow, what a week so far. I feel like I am just flying by the seat of my pants. First off, Ku's Dad's Eye got tons worse the next morning. Here is his picture of him in the morning, AFTER he was able to get it open. Looks really bad uh? If you click on the picture, it will enlarge it.

So my in laws left on Sunday morning. And then durning Church Ku and I had been asked to speak. Ugh, I am not a public speaker. Ku is, but me. Um no! But actually it wasn't as bad as I remember it being. But my talk was under ten minutes. Fortunately there was a choir to sing, so Ku had about fifteen minutes to talk, and boy oh boy was he good. But he is a natural speaker. I wish I had that talent.

We hvae chosen the Realtor that we are going to use. So we just now have to get our house ready for sell. I planned on making a trip to Ontario so I could pick up the trailor, and On Tuesday I needed to be here in Ontario so the Internet guy could come and install the cable for our Internet. So I was here all day on Tuesday, then Tuesday night we put the trailer on the Mountaineer, and I headed off to Mountain Home. Well, oh well, right after Caldwell, I was flagged by another driver on the Freeway, and they told me I had a flat. So I pulled over and I had a flat on the drivers side back wheel. Luckily the trailer has two tires in the back, so it didn't jerk me around. I pulled off to the side of the road, and went slowly to the next exit. Then Dad came because he had a spare tire, and the correct stuff to change the tire. Which wasn't in the SUV, so I took the kids inside Carls Jr. to wait. I got them french fries to keep them occupied. I didn't get home to Ku till around ten. Ku stayed in Mtn. Home so he could paint, and do other touch up stuff that we needed to get done in order to paint the house. So that is why Ku stayed. And not to mention it is a lot easier to paint without the kids around.

So Today is Wednesday, we packed a load onto the trailer, and came to Ontario. The stuff that we packed was the stuff that was in our Garage, it was so cluttered. It will sell easier without all that stuff in the garage. We didn't have any flats, so that was good. Ku and I made it to eat a lunch with Dad's Firefighters. It was there annual Holiday Lunch. And I had made a Eggnog pie yesterday for it. And it was a really good pie, I might add. Anyway, it was a good lunch. Now, our computer is here in Ontario, so I will be blogging when I am here. So it will be sporadic for a couple of weeks. But, Don't go away, I'll be around as much as possible.

Saturday

Well today is almost over. My Inlaws have been here, and we have been enjoying there company. We went to our Ward Breakfast Party this morning. It was fun. They had it in the AM so it was a breakfast. If we would have stayed here, we would have been in charge of planning it for next year. Oh well, maybe some day we will get to be in charge of Activities again. I was really looking forward to that calling.

This afternoon, Ku and his parents went for a 6.5 mile run. While they were running, the kids and i took naps. Oh so nice. I had been up since 5am, when Alec chose to make his entrance into our room this morning. Oh man, what a early time. Usually he will go back to sleep, but no not this morning. When my Inlaws and Ku got back, My father in law was covered with blood on his shoulder, and knees, he had a goose egg on his forehead. Guess he took a face plant in the dirt, and kept running. Now that is some runner. Well, now tonight, he has a black eye. hehe, it is kinda funny, but sad all at once. He seems thrilled about his battle wound.

Well, the kids are getting ready for bed. Then we are going to play Hand and Foot till wee hours of the night. Not really, we have to go to bed, Ku and I are talking in Church tomorrow, I am so not exited. I would much rather deal with my kids then speak in church. Ku on the other hand, will do great.

Friday

Well, today has been a hectic day. At least for Ku. He got up with Alec at around 6:30 and then let me sleep in till 8:30ish. Cuz I read my book way too late last night. Till it was done, and so I got to bed around 1:30am. :) I love to read, and when I start something it is really hard to stop. Then after getting up and ready for the day, we picked up the house. Ku's parents came over for the weekend, and so we got things picked up a bit for them. I made some dinner in the Crockpot, and made some Eggnog pie for after dinner tomorrow. Yum...Ku's fav. So it will be something to look forward to tomorrow. We had a nice visit with them before Ku and his dad went to Boise to go with Ket, and Robby and others to a Cage Fight. huh? well, Ku really wanted to go, and he used to Cage Fight, so this might have not been wise for him to go, cuz he still wants to do this kind of work. But he has a family, so he doesn't get to. But he still dreams about it.

I have to go to bed early tonight, like soon, because tomorrow in the AM is our ward Christmas Party, it is a breakfast. At 8:30am, and I was asked to help set up, and decorate. So i'll get up early, and go help set up at 7:30am. That will leave Ku and his mom and dad to get the kids up and ready in time. We will see if they make it on time. Epically if Ku and Wayne get home late tonight.

A new day

Well it has almost been a week since I have posted. That is because it has been a REALLY LONG WEEK. There are things that have happened that I wish on nobody. To make a long story short, we are moving back to Ontario. Ku lost his job because of some bad stuff that is going on in the department of Mtn. Home. I think that the department has some very corrupt men in it. And Ku was the most honest man there, and these corrupt men didn't want a honest person in the department. So well, they chose to let him go, and loose a good hard worker. Ku could stay in the law enforcement field, but we are choosing another way. Ku is going to go back to school at TVCC. Yes we are moving back to Ontario. Now he is going to get to go to school full time, and get his education. Something he has always wanted to do. It has just taken us four years to figure this all out. He wants to teach. He wants to teach high school History. Yea, it might have taken us four years to figure this out, but at least we have figured it out. Yea. So that is our last week in a nutshell.

Tuesday

Well today was kinda a boring day. We didn't leave the house till later this afternoon, and that was just to go get Milk for my milk a holic's, and Cottage Cheese and Yogurt. (which Alec eats ALL the time, together) I did get my house cleaned though. And I did Laundry. I am now reading a good book, and that is a good thing, and a bad thing, cuz I don't like to stop when I am reading books.

Two things that the kiddos did today that were fun. Alec after coming back from the store, when right into go to the bathroom. He came back out with my lipstick all over his face. hehe, he thought it was chap stick, and now I now how much chap stick he would use when I am not around. It was cute,

The second thing is that I let Logan 'try' to feed himself his Ravioli. hehe, that was great too. I gave him the fork, and he tried, really tried to jab his food with the fork. Just to use his other hand. But when it was time to clean him up, off to the bathroom for a bath he went. It was EVERYWHERE. So cute

Ku is doing well, this whole next two weeks are practicals/ written tests. He is doing well, but pretty stressed.

Monday

Well today has been a fun day. We first got up to get ready for Story Time. Alec wanted to go, but he was dragging his feet when it came to getting ready to go. He had a hard time, remembering that he needed to get his cloths on, then shoes and socks. Oh I was at my wits end. But we made it. And Alec of course loves Story time. And I look forward to something different whenever it can come around.

Then the next big thing that happened today, was Annie Ward came to hang out and talk all day. Yea, all day. I think she only ment to be here for a few hours, but of course since I haven't been able to talk to her for like 6 mths (okay less, but just a little) it last ALL day. From noon till 7 or so. So much fun. We chatted all day, and then we went to dinner.

Alec didn't get a nap today, so of course he went down at 7. And so did Logan because Alec got a little over excited and went into his room. So he went down and hay that left me all by myself. That was just fine by me. It was a quite night. And quite is sometimes a good thing.

Ku is gearing down to the finale week. This week is full of Practicals of all he has learned. I know is doing well. He is still studying as much as ever. And getting good grades.

Just wanted to mention that if anyone is reading this and close to the Boise area, Ku graduation is in Meridian next week, on the 15th, and anyone can come. After that we are having a little party for him at my sisters house in Meridian, so come. Just call me for directions.

Sunday

oh man this week has gone by so fast. This weekend has been really fast too. Ku was home all weekend, and the boys just soaked in his love. Two more weeks, and we are DONE. YAY. Then we are onto a more normal schedule. This will be like wonderful.

Ku started the weekend out by on Saturday morning having to work. UH? Well, it was Shop with a Cop day for some lucky kids that were in need. He woke up and went to work at 7:30am and came home by lunch. Yay, not too long. After that, Ku and I watched 'The Man from Snowy River" and the "Return from Snowy River". It was fun watching it with him. Then we went to the Church around 5 because there was a over 500 displays of the Nativity Story on Display for anyone to come and see. There was also a Live Nativity, and they had asked us to be apart of that. We were Mary and Joseph for a half of a hour. It was kinda nice. It was just the two of us, and we got to talk for a full 30 minutes uninterrupted. So nice.

Today we went to Church. Ku Left for POST after Sacrament Meeting. But it is only Two weeks left. So I can handle it. Yay.

Thursday

Yea, tomorrow is Friday, and Ku will be home. So tired, it feels like it was such a long week.

The girl that came over today name is Carrie, and she brought her two kids. Like I said yesterday, they came over for a play date. It was a lot of fun. Alec sure does like other kids. I would really like to put him in a Preschool threw the Rec department that is 40 dollars a month. I think he would so LOVE it there. I will have to see if we have that kind of money left at the end of this month. Not that this month is a great month to see if we have left over money, same as with December. Alec is Sociable. He just loves to play with other kids. It is so nice that he likes to be around others.

Logan also had fun, the Logan and his friend didn't really 'play' as much as they just hung around each other. So cute. And Carrie, is a really nice person, I really enjoyed talking with her. I am glad I had the guts to just ask her like that. When Ku get back for good from POST, I think we will have them over as a family for dinner. Should be fun. I think we will try to have a play date each week.

Ku called me today, while I was in Walmart checking out the groceries. And when he called, Alec had run off, so I was looking for him, so when he called, I said "can't talk right now, I'll call ya back" click. So when I called him back, he didn't answer. So I may not hear from him again till tomorrow when he is driving back here.

Wednesday

Today has been SO cold outside. Right now it is 19 degrees here in Mtn Home. This morning it was 13 degrees. I hear my heater working, and think about the bill. Oh well. I made a conscience decision to STAY inside today. We didn't go out for anything. Partly because I still haven't looked for a coat for Logan in the coats box in Ontario. Man, what a bad mom I am. I was there for over a week, and never got down to the shop where the boys' cloths are located. I didn't realize it of course till I was back here, and it got COLD. for now, I will try not to take him out. And if I do, well, I will use sweatshirts, sweaters, and some of Alec's older cloths.

Both boys did good today, they took naps, and while they were down, I put up our Christmas Tree and other decorations. After all is said and done, I swear I owned more decorations at one time or another, I will have to slowly remedy that. But the tree looks very good. We got a fake tree from a yard sale this summer, and it was so nice to be able to put it up without worrying about how long it would last, or the needles falling off of it. I think I miss the smell of the fresh tree, but I like the fake one. And I REALLY like the price of it. :)

Ku had a good day, they are still in cars, and tonight they are going out on there night drive. He will let me know tomorrow what that meant, he didn't even know.

Tomorrow I have set up a play date with another mom that goes to the story time. She has two boys around the same age as Alec and Logan. And so I am excited to hopefully get to know her, and her boys. This will be interesting, I hope it is fun.

Tuesday

Today Alec went to his 'preschool' class. It is really just a craft class. It is really fun for Alec, he really likes it. Today they Painted a cardboard boxes that were a maze. The kids had a lot of fun. I enjoyed watching Alec, they were freely painting the outside of the boxes, then they got to go inside and find there way out again. It was really cute, and again I don't have my camera so I couldn't take pictures. But one of the moms did, so when I get the pictures I will post them. man this is hard to live without the camera.

Logan is doing good, he started another sign today. He is working on 'more' and 'thankyou' and today he did a good job a both. Now the bigger one is 'please'. I am confident that he will get that one soon. So now he is signing 'more, thankyou, eat/food, down, all done, milk, and water' what a smart boy he is. He is picking up the signing really fast.

Ku is doing well, they are still working on driving. He is enjoying himself. The biggest thing they are learning today was how to go into a skid and not tip over, at high speeds. Wow, if we could all take this kind of driving class, there might not be many wrecks.

Oh and other big news is that Alec is doing so good at sleeping in his own bed, by himself. And he is letting me turn off his light. For a few mths he was scared of the dark and he wouldn't let me turn off his light. I always go out of his room and ask him if he wants his light on or off. (i only started this when he became scared of the dark) anyway he was always saying to leave it on. But the last two nights, including tonight, he has asked me to leave it off. So cool. I am really excited about this newest achievement.

Monday

We went to the Library for Story Time. Alec had a hard time paying attention to the first book, but then when the second book came around, it was about different animals doing weird things, so he enjoyed that one. It was nice to be back in my routine. Tomorrow will be his craft day, I wish I had my camera, they painting boxes to make a homemade castle, and Alec will have a ton of fun.

I am putting in my order for Body Shop tomorrow morning, so I have been busy getting that all set up, and ready for ordering. I just found out this last weekend that Annie Ward is coming back to Ontario from Korea with her daughter Megan, I am really excited to see her.

Alec picked two new books out from the Library today, and he feel asleep reading them at his quite time. Oh that was nice, both books are about dinosaurs. He sure does love those books.

Logan is CLIMBING everywhere. I turn around, and he is climbing onto something else, like my Sewing table, or kitchen table. Or even the Sink in the Bathroom. Oh man, he loves to climb, I am praying that he doesn't fall, that would be a long ways to fall.

Ku training this week is in the Police Cars. I hope that it will be a fun week, it should at least be fun because it is changing some of the days' monotonous.

We woke up to SNOW this morning. It was fun, Alec did go out by him self without his coat on. I was making my bed, and low and behold he was outside. hehe, it didn't last long, he got cold pretty fast. :)

I'M BACK

Wow, what a long trip. I ended up going for longer then I thought I would. First off, we found out that Grandpa Mairs' was turning 91 on Saturday, and my Aunt was having a birthday party/thanksgiving dinner for him. So Ku and I at first decided that we would stay for that at least. Then found out that Ku couldn't travel from Mtn Home to Ontario, to Mtn home and back to POST so we stayed till today cuz he had to go back to post. He actually went back to Post last night, but it was late after the b-day party was over and I didn't want to drive back that late. So I came home after church today.

Alec's Birthday Party was TONS of fun. I will post pictures tomorrow. Thank you to all that helped make his 'CAR' birthday wonderful. He/ we had a blast. I made a birthday cake that resembled a race track. It was so cute. Then we played pen the light on the car. (Ku drew a car for me). All the kids had so much fun.

Mom and I planned Thanksgiving for our families. I got most of the recipes out of 'Better Homes and Gardens". Our thanksgiving was OH SO GOOD. all the food was excellent. I think that might be our new tradition to create new thanksgivings with new recipes each year. I guess we shall see. We did have most of our 'traditional' food. Grandma Mairs brought her Yams...oh so good. Aunt Dede brought her Stuffing, and of course that was good. Then Grandma Mairs also made her famous (at least in the Mairs family) Eggnog Pie. So good. It is Ku's new favorite Pie. I made my Rhubarb pie. And everyone enjoyed that one. Nicole made this YUMMY cranberry salad, and Krystal made the best Sweet Potatoes, you know the ones with marshmallows on them. Oh so good. Mom made the turkey, which was good. Oh so much good food, I will be working that off for a few days. :)

Before we went to the Birthday party for Grandpa Mairs, we had Mom take some pictures for us, so I could get them onto Christmas Cards. So many people don't know we moved. I want to make sure that Ku's family get them, so they know where we are.

Ku has THREE yes I said THREE weeks left. Two weekends. YEA, i can't begin to exclaim how excited I am. He is doing well. He is so close, that we can both smell it. On the 15th of December is his last day, as well as his graduation. We are both SUPPER excited about it. I am going to send out invites for all who want to attend the graduation as well as the party at our house after wards. Did I tell you I am so excited for this long journey to end. It has been since April that Ku and I haven't lived in the same place. (minus the mouth that we were together here in Mtn Home before he went to Post) But still it has been a LONG year for us. Hopefully we won't EVER have to repeat this again.

The kids so Loved having Ku home with us for this holiday season. They so loved his attention. Alec is doing so good at minding (most of the time) and Logan is turning into a little climber. I will look back at him, and oh he will be standing or better yet Jumping up and down on a table. Oh what fun what fun.

I did go to the stores the day after thanksgiving..hoping to find a DVD player. Ours is going down hill fast. Also I dreamed of a new TV. There were some amazing deals to be had for the TV's but still out of our budget. We hopefully will be able to get something new next year. Ours is going to die soon, at least that is what it looks like.

Funny thing, I just went to upload some pictures for my blog, and oh well, I left them in Ontario. Whoops. Guess I will have to upload them next week, if I can get my camera back.

Wednesday

Well, I am going to go to Ontario Tomorrow. Logan's heater broke in his room, so I need to take it to Ontario to see if I can't get it replace at wallie world, or if my padre can fix it. I will be there till after thanksgiving. It will be a nice break. I need to wake up early, so I can start the bread raising, I am making some bread for my VT ladies. So if I want to leave here by Noon, then I need to start the bread at six.

Alec was a handful today, he has been asking for Tutu all week. It has been two weeks since he got to see her and papa, so he misses them. Not to mention his daily question about Jesiah, and Noah. Oh he is so attached to those to cousins. Logan was a good boy, till he wanted to bang things on the TV. So we did the Discipline thing, and it went off better then it went before. He is learning.

Ku's day was long and boring. The instructor was speaking monotone, and it was a boring class. he went to bed early, like at six. Tomorrow he has a four mile run. Poor guy, he hasn't gotten his MHPD coat yet, so he is kinda cold outside.

Tuesday

Today we got up all excited for the day cuz it stooped raining. Yea. Alec went to his 'preschool' class, actually all it is a arts and crafts for a hour. They made some cute stuff today, I'll post pictures tomorrow. It is a little too late tonight. Durning his class, I usually am going to stay, but today I felt like I could come home for a hour and clean. Well when I got home, my VTers were here waiting to see me. They were suppose to come tomorrow, and had there days mixed up. Oh well, good thing I came home.

I made some more of the Chilli that i made last week. I made it to freeze it, and eat it over the course of a week or so. I wounder how long I can freeze the Chili. Hopefully for awhile. Since on Saturday is the Birthday party for Alec..the big 03...and it is in Ontario. Mom just asked me if would just stay in Ontario till Thursday. So I have to think about it. It isn't my house, so it always feels kinda wierd now to stay overnight. Only weird cuz well, it isn't mine. And I stayed with her for awhile before moving to Mtn Home, and that was fine. But I really like having my own house. Even thought she does such a great job doing laundry... :)

Alec played a bit outside today, and he enjoyed that of course. Logan, well, he was Logan. Just played around a bit. I still don't know what I am going to get for him for Christmas, not much this year, but I do need to figure it out asap. We already got Alec his present, and I know he will like it.

Ku has had a interesting day. He did his practice on the breath test this morning, then tonight the POST had people that were willing to come and get 'drunk' so the guys/gals could practice on them. It was really hard for me to really believe that they would have people drunk at POST, but I guess that they have to, so that they can really practice those skills. Giving the test is a lot of what they do, dealing with drunk people.

Monday

Today has been another Rainey Day here in Mtn Home. It just won't stop raining, and my poor dogs, well they get stuck in there kennel when it rains, cuz when they go outside and come back in, they go STRAIT in to the kennel to dry off. Then they can come out.

We went to the Story Time. Alec loves Story time, so it is nice to have to get ready for something in the day. After Story Time, we came home and Alec and Logan went down for a nap. Oh so VERY NICE. I had time to fold all my laundry, which had been piling up for three days. So I had four loads to fold. I did it in a hour, during Days of our Life. So it was a good hour to waste. :)

After Alec's nap, he wanted to go outside, which it wasn't raining at this time. So I get him all dressed up, with his Coat, Hat, Gloves and Boats. And he is just out there playing around, and playing in the mud which is great...but then I turned around to look at him and he turned on our faucet and the hose, and was spray himself. hahaha, he is drenched and having a ball. I jump up and run to put on my shoes, and go outside cuz by now he doesn't want the water on, but can't turn it off. So I turned it off, and striped him naked, so he can go get more cloths on.

Logan, just played all day. I think he watched Signing Time one time, which was fun, cuz he so loves that show. And then he just played with Alec, and they had tons of fun. Oh except the time I tried to discipline him. he was standing on my floor light shacking it. So I told him no, pulled him on my lap for Time out, and he cried, not liking this game. We did it about four times, before he figured out that he wasn't suppose to shake the lap. Oh don't we love discipline for a one year old.

When Alec was getting ready for bed, he went and put on his jammies, and after we brushed his teeth, I asked him to go potty. So he pulled everything down, but when the time came, he couldn't get it back up. So I started to help him, and oh gosh, this kid had on FOUR pars of Underwear on. I was trying so hard not to laugh. So we fixed this, and he was able to pull up ONE pare and his PJ bottoms. What a riot.

Ku is doing good today. He had DUI classes all day. He studied tonight because tomorrow they have to practice what they learned, which included the practical part of giving a DUI test. You know, the blowing one. So he is doing good, he is finally able to put Logan's seizure out of his head, now I just pray that he doesn't have another one.

Sunday

Church was nice today. Ku was able to stay till the end of sacrament meeting, then he headed off to POST. The kids were 'semi' good during church and Logan was good during the rest of the meetings. I can't wait till he can go into nursery. I usually just sit in the foyer, during Sunday School and RS. Just because Logan is way to busy to stay in one place.

Then we came home, and I thought that they both would fall asleep fast, and maybe I could take a nap too, oh no, Alec didn't want to take a nap. :( so I didn't get one either. But that is okay, I will sleep well tonight, I didn't sleep very good last night because Alec was up most of the night coughing.

Tonight has been quite, the kids went down easily, and that is always nice. I think I will make some of that chili tomorrow and freeze it in my freezer since we seemed to really like it, and the kids will eat it also. It was so much better than the stuff in cans. Yea for Crock Pot Meals.

Saturday Night

Today was a GOOD Day. Ku didn't have to study, and he spent the whole day with me and the kids. He did have about a hour worth of work, but he did that right here on our computer. Yea. We cleaned the house, and I cooked. Yea, I had somebody worth cooking for. Not that Logan and Alec aren't worth it to cook, but they don't appreciate the effort it really takes. We had the Peaches over for dinner tonight. Wow, I wish they lived closer. They did come because they both needed haircuts, and so it was perfect timing to enjoy dinner also. I made a Chili in my Crock Pot. We put it on Rice, and it turned out really well. I am proud of myself that I came up with something that everyone liked. Yea, two thumbs up for Chili. It was so easy, why do I ever buy that stuff. I wounder how long I can store it after I make it. If it freezes easily. Hum...I should really try it. I did of course use ground Turkey, instead of Ground Hamburger, and it was still good.

The Peaches stayed till just a little bit ago. We mostly just chatted with them, and it feels good to have adult conversations on my weekends when Ku comes home. It is a recharging effect, same as when I get to go to church, it makes me feel very recharged. that is when I can actually listen to all of church.

Ku has to leave tomorrow after Sacrament Meeting, his roommate needs help studying for a test that he is taking on Radar. Ku already took this class here in Mtn Home. So he knows the stuff. What a awesome guy he is for always being there to help anyone in need.

Friday

The kids slept till around 8am. Yea, then I got up to do my workout, I only do a 20 min. work out because I really don't have any more time to do any more. That would be because whenever I think I want to work out, my kids think it is time I should be playing with them. So they hang at my feet till I pay attention to them, and not to mention push-up, and sit-ups. With both, my body being on the floor is a invite for them to jump on me, and then continue to jump up and down. So it is a game really.

The missionaries showed up at 10 to do a service for us, they raked our leaves. How nice is that, Now when Ku is home, we don't have to waist our day raking leaves. The kids took a nap around noon, and then they got up. I started dinner, since Ku is home tonight, I made Chicken in the crock pot. Yum.

Ku got home early, and we had dinner at 5. We had the Chicken, and Jewish Sweet Bread, and Corn. Jewish Sweet Bread is his fav, and I feel like I have finally mastered it... at least enough that Ku LOVES it. :)

Ku had his mid-term Physical today, it was FREEZING outside, so that didn't help his mile and a half. But he did well, regardless on everything.

Oh Alec helped rake up the leaves today, he had so much fun being outside. He ran and jumped and played. The pictures are of him really living up the leaf bed.

Thursday

Grandma Dunn showed up at 10am this morning, she was suppose to be here between 10-11. I didn't except her here till 11, so I wasn't completely ready. What a nice change to my daily routine, to do hair. Yay, I hope she liked the perm. I really enjoyed the time I got to spend with her. Thanks Grandma for spending some time with me today.

The kids didn't take a nap today, Logan might have, but he needed a diaper change about a hour into his nap. Alec didn't for the second day in a row, hopefully he will be back on track tomorrow. When he doesn't take a nap, he does go down at 7:30pm, but the next morning, he is up and READY for his day to start bright and early. This morning he awoke at 5am, and didn't want to go back to bed. He did finally around seven, and we all slept till 8:30am so nice. I love getting to sleep in.

Ku did better today with his shooting. I am glad that he is doing better, he is starting to realize that there isn't anything he can do for Logan over there, and he is concentrating on his school again. I am sure that he will do great from now on. Now lets all say a prayer that Logan doesn't have another Seizure, epically while Ku is at POST.

Wednesday

Today I have been feeling kinda like it was a 'blue' day. There isn't any reason for this, but it was the way I felt all day. Which isn't good because it makes me very testy with Alec. And of course he didn't take a nap today, which wasn't good. But he did go to bed early, at seven thirty which was nice today. Grandma Dunn is coming tomorrow so i can Perm her hair, so that is going to be nice. It is always nice to have a break in my routine.

Alec did do good today, even with my short temper. He did have some quite time, and that helped me. But without a nap, he gets really tired at the end of the day. Oh something he did yesterday, that I forgot to mention...since yesturday was SO nice, we are talking about 82 degrees outside, and it is normally 50 something. So anyway, we went to the park after dinner. It was so nice, and Alec got to go outside and play one more time this season. Logan got to play too, and he is getting old enough to enjoy the park. Anyways, Alec decided he needed to go Potty, and so in the middle of the park, on the toys, off the little bridge, he dropped his pants and peed, right there. I tried to stop him, but once he started, he didn't want to stop. Anyway, I guess that is the joys of having boys...gotta break that idea.

Ku had another hard day, he should be enjoying this week because he gets to go shooting a lot, but his mind is just not on his work. It is on Logan..ugh there isn't ANYTHING he can do about him right now. And he is just fine, but I can't get that threw his head. He is only hurting his scores worrying about Logan.

PS:

He did the turkey all by himself, his teacher helped him a little, but he placed everything where he wanted. I think he did a awesome job. Even thought the feathers are usually behind the cup, not under the head. But he had was very creative.

Tuesday

Today is the big Election day. I wasn't able to vote because I haven't changed my drivers licence yet...don't tell Ku. I guess it is against the law not to change your drives licence here in ID after moving here after like 60 days. okay, just kidding, he knows. :)

I registered Alec for a class at the Rec Center here, on Tuesdays from 10-11am. He went today, and made a very cute turkey from a cup and other things. I'll post a picture. He is such a little Social guy, it is so nice that he isn't so into me or himself that he hangs on me when we go new places. He just loved being able to play with the other two kids that were there. He had fun. After there little craft, they had time to just play, and play he did. Later on after dinner, I realized it was SO nice outside. It was 82, so we went to the park to play. Alec had tons of fun, and Logan is getting old enough to play at the park also. He climbed up and down on the slide, and slid down on it all by himself. What a cutie, If tomorrow is nice I will take my camera to the park. I need to get some pictures anyways.

Ku had another long day, some class, and some shooting time. Of course the shooting time is fun, but the class was boring. He didn't get any sleep last night, poor guy. I don't know why, but he went to bed pretty early tonight, hoping to catch up on sleep. They start them off early, at seven am is there first class.

Monday

Well, today has been a fast day. We woke up, I was able to do a small work-out. I only have time in the mornings for about 30 min. so it isn't much, but it always makes me feel like I have more energy threw out the day. Then the kids and I got ready to go to Story Time at the Library. Alec really enjoys this, but today he was having a hard time sitting and listening to the Librarian. But we made threw it, and checked out some books for Alec to read this next week. They are all about Dinosaurs, and he has really enjoyed reading them. The only problem is he loves to 'kill' them during the day, but at night, the are scary to him. Oh well, I have learned to shoot them when he goes to bed, and that has helped some.

After Story Time, I went and signed him up for a hour of fun at the Rec Center. It is just a short class for 2-4 yr olds on Tuesdays, and he gets to do some kinda craft. I don't know if I have to stay, or not, but tomorrow I guess I will figure this one out. I will stay tomorrow, but I don't know if I am really needed. One hour isn't a lot of time to get much done, but I could try. We shall see. I know he will enjoy it. He isn't much into Coloring, as much as he is into building swords with markers, or making a train with the markers. He has quite the imagination. I don't buy him guns, or swords, and we don't have a train...but almost all of his toys, or food, or books can become them.

Logan did good today, he just played and he is getting better about playing with Alec. They will hopefully be good friends.

Ku didn't do as good on his test today as he would like to. It is because his mind was not as focused as it should have been, cuz he always has in the back of his mind about Logan's seizures. I hope he can get over this, because chances are he won't have another, and even if he does, they aren't hurting him, and he doesn't remember them.

Sunday

Well Ku left for Post right after Sacrament meeting. I am glad he stayed for all of Sacrament, last Sunday, his test was big enough that he left right after the Sacrament itself was passed. I even stayed for all of church. I only stayed for Alec, because I myself was in the hall the rest of the time because Logan is a little too active to stay in any class. Oh well, only two more mths then he will be in Nursery, and oh my heck, Alec will be a Sunbeam. The time surely does fly.

It has been raining off and on here for the past few days. Which is okay, except Lawa and Boe can't just go outside without getting muddy, thanks to my mud only back yard. Poor dogs, as soon as they come back into the house, I make them go into their Kennel, so they can dry off and clean off their feet on the towel in the Kennel, and not on my carpet.

We went to the Peaches last night, it was a lot of fun. Man, i wish we lived closer to them. They are such down to earth people. The Rhubarb Pie I made was oh so good. I even made the crust, and it turned out really yummy. Even Ku who doesn't like Rhubarb 'period' gave my pie a 7. Yea, he said the crust was really good too. And this is the first time I have ever made crust, I even had to buy a rolling pin to make it because I didn't own one.

Church was okay, but like I said, I only stayed so Alec could be in Nursery which he so loves. When we got home we ALL went down for a little quite time, but of course the plan with quite time is to go to sleep. It is a little later than normal for Alec to take a nap, but he needed one. I tried for awhile to get him off naps, but that wasn't working very well cuz he would fall asleep around five then not sleep till ten or so. So now I just put him down around noon for a little 'quite time' and he has been falling asleep pretty easily.

Ku is back at POST, and he has another big test this tomorrow, why am I not surprised. I don't remember what this one was about, but he wasn't too excited about it.

Saturday

So today has been a nice day, because Ku has been home. Yes he is still studying, but I would rather he was studying here, then in Meridan. He woke up early so he could go to the PD and do some work there, then he came home around ten, and I went to the store. I had to go get a couple of things for a Rhubarb pie that I just learned how to make. And yes, I am making the crust by hand. YUM. I hope the crust turns out okay, that is suppose to be the hardest part. It will probably be dark, I forgot to put tinfoil on it, so it cooks it evenly. Oh well, we won't eat the crust on the outside.

We are going to the peaches for dinner tonight, I made the pie, and I am also making Jewish Sweet Bread, every ones favorite, thanks Mom. The kids are just loving being in Ku's presence. Right now, we are awaiting the pie to finish, so we can leave. And the kids are watching Baby Einstein. Logan really likes those video's, those and Signing Time.

Friday night

Ku is home, yea...it is not quite 9:30 and he and the kids are already in bed. He is really tired. Poor guy, they kick his butt at POST and then he comes home to a couple of kids that only want him to hold him. Oh well, he is almost down to six weeks. YEA That is such a sweat number. The countdown starts.

So Logan had another Seizure this past week. I talked to his DR. and we are going to get a EEG done, to try and figure out why he has had two seizures in the past six weeks. I am a little nervous, but I trust her. It happened on Wednesday night, and I was by myself, but I recognized it,and the Holy Ghost inspired me to remain calm. I knew he would be alright, but it was pretty scary at first. He is of course fine now, but for that one minute that felt like a hour, it was scary. I am using Dr. Devoe in Ontario. I just don't trust the Dr. here that Logan saw before. She probably is fine, but you just don't trust your kids with ANYONE. It could be anything from not breathing when he is crying, to epilepsy (spelling?) and they may not ever find out what is wrong. And they may find it goes away with age. who knows, right now we are awaiting our insurance to kick in, then we will go get the EEG done.

Alec is doing fine, he just wanted his daddies attention. He misses him so much durning the week. And he is getting excited about his Birthday, the theme is CARS of course. I think that we will get him the CARS DVD movie that is coming out two days before his birthday. We won't celebrate it till the 18th because that is the best time for Ku to be around to celebrate his birthday. I don't think I will be able to wait 9 days to let Alec watch the movie, I don't know maybe.

Ku did well this past week at POST. Next week I guess is just a lot of Firearms training. He should be good at this, oh wait, he is good at everything. Wow, what a awesome husband I have.

Thursday

Well today was kinda a slow relaxing day. I went to the State insurance place to find out if we qualified for the boys to have insurance, and oh what...they lost our application. Ugh, I was a little peeved about this because it was looking like I was going to have to fill out another application. But as I left, they called me and said that it was found...yea. They sent it in by fax I think to the place that processes them, and hopefully by the end of next week I will know yes or no. I am sure it is a yes. We are definitely under the level to have the boys on the state insurance.

The boys are playing in the tub right now, I want to get them ready for bed before SmallVille comes on, and then later on ER. Yea, my favorite nite with TV. They will go to bed around eight, and then it will be my quite time with ER.

Ku is doing well, he did have a practical test this morning, and of course he did good. He did twist his ankle, and the sick station doesn't have any wrap. So he is probably in pain. He will be home tomorrow, so he will get to wrap it here at home. YEA, I am so excited for him to come home. This week has been okay, but it has been a long week.

Wednesday

Well, back from a quick trip to Ontario. And a fun night last night at the Halloween Carnival at the middle school here in Mtn. Home. I went to Ontario on Sunday night to see a good friend of mine that came into town from AZ. I got together with her on Monday morning, for a couple of hours. How fun. She has a ten mth old little girl, and it was so fun to see Synthea. Then after visiting with Synthea, on Monday, mom and I went to Boise to help Grandma and Grandpa Dunn trim their hedges. They had some overgrown hedges, and I spend a few hours trimming them. They looked a whole lot better after I was done. Grandpa Dunn is doing a whole lot better. After his last surgery that took all his infection out of his system, he is walking better, and walking taller.
After trimming the hedges, mom treated us to some POJO'S. A fun pizza place for the kids. Nicole and the kids came over and ate with us. It was fun, we were there forever, like two or three hours.

On Tuesday, yesterday, we left in the morning, and I drove and spent some time with Nicole and her kids in the afternoon. It was fun, then we drove home. Alec dressed up again as a firefighter, and Logan again like a puppy. We went to the Halloween Carnival and did some fun games, and Alec got some good candy.

On Monday Ku had his BIG test which he had been studying for for two weeks. He did really well, he got a 96% and I am very proud of him. His whole class did really good. The average grade was a 90% and this was the first POST class to do that well. Also only one person failed the test, which is unheard of. Usually a lot more fail the test. So this other person is Ku's roomie, and he was helping him pass his retake. Which was this morning, I don't know how he did yet.

So today has been semi lazy, with the time change, the kids are waking up earlier than before, and we need to get used to the time change, so right now they are both taking naps. I might be headed off for one in a few minutes. After we wake up, this afternoon, I am going to a friends house to make a pie. She has a really good Rhubarb Pie recipe, and I want to learn how to make it. I am going to make it and take it to Thanksgiving dinner. YUM!!

The pictures of the kids are the Halloween pictures from our ward party. What cuties!!!

Sunday

So here we are again, Sunday. It was a pretty good Sunday because of Daylight Savings time. Yea, had one extra hour to get ready. Not that I really needed it, but the extra time was super nice. I didn't have to rush. Ku was here all weekend, it was so nice. We went to the Trunk or Treat last on Friday, and then last night we had the missionaries over for dinner. It was nice to cook a real meal. We had Jewish Sweet Bread, and Chicken Alfredo, and Green Peppers. Yum, I love green peppers. It was nice. I love to see Ku full of energy, and since he has started his job, he is always full of energy. It is so nice. He has regained the light in his eyes that he had after his mission. It had dimmed while he was at the prison.

The kids were good today durning Sacrament meeting. Alec actually feel asleep on Nani's lap. Which he wouldn't have ever done on mine. But it was a good cat nap. Logan was happy, and in good spirits. I did leave after Sacrament meeting because Logan was getting tired. It was because of Daylight Savings time. it was way closer to his nap time after Sacrament meeting. I will work really hard this next week to get the kids used to the new schedule.

Ku is back at POST. He has his HUGE LAW test tomorrow in the AM. So if anyone is reading this blog, please keep him in your prayers. He will do a good job, but it doesn't hurt to have extra prayers sent upwards for him.

I am going to Ontario as soon as Logan wakes up. Synthea Atkinson (new last name, I can't remember) is in town for till Tuesday. So I am going to go to Ontario so I can see her. It has been almost a year since I saw her. I will be back on Tuesday because on Tuesday is the big Halloween Carnival that is put on by the rec. department here in Mountain Home. So that should be fun.

Saturday, October 28, 2006

Saturday

Well Ku made it home last night in time to go to our wards Halloween Party. It was fun. Of course Alec dressed up as a Firefighter, and Logan dressed up as a little puppy. Oh they were so cute. I am glad that they get to wear them again on Tuesday. Ku of course won't be here for that, but he was at least able to be here yesterday, which was a huge help with the kids at the Ward Party. So we went and it was a Chile feed, so we ate chili, and then the kids went trick or treating to everyone in the ward. Ku and I had a little table set up, and he handed out the candy. While I took Alec Trick or Treating. He did a good job saying those words. We have been working on him being able to say those words for awhile now, just so he could say it last night, and on Tuesday.

I am busy cleaning house today, and getting dinner ready. We are having Chicken Alfredo, with Jewish Sweet Bread. And some salad, and green pepper. The missionaries are coming over for dinner, Ku loves to be able to spend time with them. So he invited them for dinner. Which I don't mind, because they always tell me I am a good cook, so of course I love complements.

I will post pictures of the kids costumes later, for now, I have to clean clean clean.

Friday

Yesterday was a busy day. Alec had a little friend over in the morning, his name is Paul. He is four, but Alec being Alec loves to play with anyone. So he had fun. Paul left around noon, when I put Logan down. For some reason, Logan didn't want to sleep, so he stayed awake till like one, just talking in his bed. It was sweet to watch. Then when I put Alec down for his quite time, it last for about a hour, but he didn't take a nap either. Which was kinda weird.

After the boys got up, ALec and I carved a pumpkin. This is usually something that Ku does with Alec, but tonight is our Trunk or Treat/ Dinner at the church, and we are going to take the pumpkin with us to decorate our table with. Ku will help ALec carve the other pumpkin maybe tomorrow, if he has time. He may not have time because he is going to be busy studying for his BIG TEST on LAW. It is Monday, and he wants to Ace it. He will.

Ku and the other guys at post had a fighting class last night. They all got three minutes to fight another person, they were wearing padding and stuff. Well Ku called me last night, and well, he hit the guy a little too hard on his face, and it knocked him out. He is okay, but Ku felt bad. It wasn't completely one sided, Ku said the other guy got a good punch on Ku.

Yesterday around 3 or 4 Mom and Krystal came up from Ontario. YEA, a change to the routine of my life. It was nice to see them, they brought some pumpkins to paint with Alec, so we painted and it was pretty fun. The kids all got really Dirty, Noah, and Kassiah were here.

Logan has started signing, it is kinda fun to see his cute chubby hands signing. His first sign is of course MILK, and he is also signing more, done, and down. He loves to watch signing times, and this is really his first movies that he has watched.

Well, Ku is coming home tonight, I am super duper excited............

Wednesday

So today started out a pretty bad day for me. I didn't want to get out of bed, and when I did, I didn't want to get into the shower. I fought it for a few hours, knowing that if I showered I would be much better. I think I was just getting kinda blue that I didn't get to see Ku last weekend, and it was starting to take its toll on me. I was just feeling kinda alone, and hopeless, but the shower did wonders. I changed my attitude, and the day has gone well.

After the kids naps, Alec and I painted a pumpkin, okay actually I watched and Alec painted the pumpkin. He had tons of fun. Then I handed the crayons to Logan, and watched him try to color/eat the crayons. :) It was all good. Of course when Alec was done, he wanted to color, so he used his markers for oh say two minutes, and then started making swords with them. He likes to put them together end to end. Or sometimes it is a train.

Ku is busy Cramming for his big LAW test next Monday. I convinced him to come home this weekend, even thought the test is Monday. He will get here on Friday in time for our Ward Trunk or Treat and dinner. So that will be super nice. Then he will spend ALL day Saturday in the Library cramming and go back to Post on Sunday after Sacrament meeting.

Alec is starting a new way of not having to go to bed, after EVERYTHING doesn't work, his new thing to do is to come into the living room and tell me he needs a hug. Okay, what mother wouldn't just hug hug hug. But after the second time of using that as a reason not to go to bed, he stated getting into timeout. Then of course I hugged him. He is asleep now, but my goodness that boy is creative.

Tuesday

So today is Tuesday, the second day of the week. And yet I feel like it should be the fourth or fifth day of the week. The Missionaries did their laundry here again. Which is fine, Ku has told me before that he wishes he could always support a missionary on a mission. So in his mind, and mind that this is the best way and only way we can afford to help them. Alec just loves it when they come over, he gets to play Dinosaurs with them. And it is something different in our very basic lives. I did get to go visiting teaching this morning, which was nice. But of course I couldn't find her house. Luckily I brought my cell with me, and I also brought her phone number with me, so I could call. She happened to live just a few blocks away from me.

Alec did take a nap today, he zonked out around 2 or 3. and for that, we are now paying for it, he is just now maybe falling asleep. He is reading in his room, his new books from the Library. I finished my book last night. I went to bed around 11pm, and just laid there wondering what was going on in my book. I only had like 50 or so more pages to go before I was done with it, so after 45 min. of wondering, I got up to finish it, so I read till around 1am. Not the smartest thing to do cuz I still get to get up and get going in the early am with Alec. Logan sleeps till 8:30 am usually, but Alec is up by at least 7:30am.

Ku is doing well, of course. He didn't get much sleep last night because the guys above him are the 'correctional guards' doing their training, and they are getting ready to graduate. So they are getting kinda wild at of course they are right above Ku. Also, I ran into a coworker of Ku's at Wallie World, and he said to say hi to him. He also said that he and a few of the other guys are planning on attending Ku's Graduation in December. So nice of them. They all think very highly of him. It makes me very proud.

Monday- Ku's Birthday

Well, today is the start of his third week at POST. Yea, we are down to 9 weeks left. That makes me happy. The kids and I had a good day. We went to the Library to go to Story Time, and then we rented some books from the library. I love to see Alec Reading books. Even when I am not reading to him, he finds joy in sitting by himself to 'read' his books. The books today are about dinosaurs. We have read them a couple of times, now he is in his bed reading them to himself. When we got done at the library, we went to the store and got stuff to substain life till Ku gets paid. For Luch, Alec had a Cheese Quesadilla, and I had a Boco Burger with Mango Salsa. And then for dinner we had Chili. Logan actually really likes Chili, which is good since he doesn't really eat much right now.

After the kids took a nap, we made a ginger bread house that was 'haunted'. It was a kit that we found at Wallie World, and Alec just loved making it. And eating the extra candy was even better. Already I have found some pieces missing. "oh well"

Today is also Ku's Birthday. Alec and I have been practicing him saying "happy Birthday Daddy" all day. SO when Ku called, he said it to him. Ku was pretty happy. And then we sang Happy Birthday. Not much of a birthday for him, wish we could see him. Oh well, we know he is where he is suppose to be.

Sunday

So today has been a good day. I missed Ku so much durning sacrament meeting, and at first Nani wasn't there. So when she arrived late, I was happy. Alec was occupying his time by chatting with a older lady at the other side of our bench. And nobody was in between us. It was a bench in the middle, so when he saw Nani come in, he asked if he could take a book to her to read, of course I said yes. So he spent the rest of sacrament meeting sitting next to Nani. So Logan and I just hung out. I was even able to go to Sunday School with him. He did good, till RS and then I had to go out in the hall. Oh well, a little is better then none.

After church, we came home. Logan went strait to bed, and Alec and I hung out till he started to get cranky. So he went to take a nap, and i crashed for a little while. Then I got up to read. I am still reading, I did finish the book last night. Now I am on Volume two. And I am reading by a light in my Front Room. I love to read. It has been so long since I have taken the time to get into novels, now heck, I am in trouble.

Alec even went to bed easily, oh so nice. It is always hard for me to let him have a nap later then noon, because then he doesn't want to go to bed. But tonight before he went to bed he watched a Church Video and I think that helped to calm him down enough to go to bed. So that is nice. Logan of course, the little angel he is, is out light a lamp. What a good boy. Oh and before I forget, he is signing. Yea, he started last night, but he has really gotten the hang of it now. Today he signed MILK. That is his first sign. He LOVES milk, so naturally that is the one he says first. He is also working on signing "all done" " more" and "Down" those are once he is tiring to sign. I am adding "please" most things. But he doesn't seem very interested in that one yet.

Saturday

So Saturday is a Special day, it is the day we get ready for Sunday. Well Sunday, ready or not here I come. With Ku not being able to come home this weekend, I am not too excited to go to Church tomorrow. That means, that I will be dealing with Alec and Logan by myself. Oh man, it isn't easy. Hopefully they will be good. Maybe we can sit near Nani, so I can send Alec over to her and let her read him a quite book. He always loves to go over to her. It really helps.

Today has been a relaxing day. I have been able to just let the boys play with their toys, and read books. They both took naps, so that was nice. I was able to read some more of my book, that I have been working on, for almost a mth. It is time to be done with it. It is Children of the Promise book number one. I don't remember if I have read this series before, but some parts are familiar, and some are not.

We also were able to Vacuum the whole house, minus the bedrooms. And Alec and Logan helped me to pick up their rooms. I need to be better about making sure that their rooms are clean before they go to bed. That is a new goal. Any suggestions on how to make it work?

Friday- I'm back

Well I am back from a fast few days in Ontario. I went on Wednesday around noon-ish, and I arrived in Ontario at four-ish. Because on my way, I stopped at the mall, then at Nicole's and finally I went to Ontario. I went to see Uncle Robert to burn of the tiny warts on my middle finger, that is why I had to go on Wednesday. And I also went so on Thursday I could go get Elieen's office to hopefully do my last hair removal on my legs, armpits, and eyebrows. It is so nice not to have to shave, it is totally worth the pain. :)

I got to spend a lot of time with mom on Thursday cuz it was her day off. It is always nice to see her, I really miss living close to her. And getting to see my dad, very nice also, he is such a awesome grandpa, Alec just loves him so much. So does Logan, though he is a little weary of him since he started growing his mustache. hehe, it is kinda fun.

I left today to come home around ten. I dropped off a couple of catalogs and then I went to have Logans, immunization chart updated at Dr. Devoe's office. I totally miss having her as my kids' pediatrician. She is such a awesome lady, I wish I lived closer, so I could stick around her. Maybe I'll just have to commute to Ontario when I need to have the kids' checkups. Only really use the one here in Mtn. Home for emergencies. Who knows what I'll do, but it really sucks that there is only one pediatrician here. We went to the Peaches as we were driving home, and hung out with Lisa for a little while. Then I went to Costco to get some Mango Salsa to go with my Boco Burgers. Yum, can't wait for tomorrow when I can have it for lunch. One of my fav meals. Then onto the mall for a little bit of a walk. A storm was coming, and the winds on the way to Mtn Home were suppose to be upwards of 35 mile a hour gusts, and normal 20 mile a hour. So I wanted to wait it out, so I did. And I didn't have any trouble driving home.

Now we are home, ad it feels so nice.

What to do, what to do?

Right now, I am fighting Alec to go to BED. He doesn't like to go to bed at night, and sometimes it is just easier to not let him take a nap. When he doesn't take a nap, he will go to sleep at 8pm. When he does take a nap, like today, he comes out SO many times, tyring to stay out of bed. He says.."I'm hungry" or "I'm thirsty" or "I'm Scared" or "I hurt" or anything else his little mind can think of. When he doesn't get a nap, he is cranky at night for about a hour before he goes to bed. So it is unpleasant, but when he does get a nap, it is unpleasant because he WON'T go to be for ever. Tonight has been pretty bad, he has even came to tell me he had a burger on his finger. Oh man, I started putting him to bed at 8:30 and it is now 10PM and he is still not asleep. I finally relented and put him in my bed (that is where he is right now) so he can fall asleep without being afraid of who knows what.

So onto our day. It started out normal, today is my bathroom day. But I didn't get to it, I did some laundry instead. I started my laundry, and then the phone rang. The missionaries needed a place to do their laundry. So they came over and did their laundry. Then when they were all done, Alec was ready for a nap. ( not a great idea) but anyway, I only tried to let him sleep for a hour or so, but he wouldn't get up. For all the pains it is to get him to sleep at night, he doesn't give me a ounce of trouble at nap time. Go figure. And after his nap, we went to the store, Logan my little milk-aholic needed more milk. So we got some for him, and also some but cream. His poop isn't smelling today, so when that happens, he gets a rash because I don't catch his dirty diaper in time to change it. So I needed a good diaper rash cream, and got the kind that is the most expensive because the others don't seem to work very well. So I bought the one that says something like "butt paste" or something like that. I hope it helps. I hate changing his diaper when he has a burn on it, he just screams and stuff because it HURTS so much.

Well, tomorrow the kids and I are going to Ontario after Logan's nap. We need to be there by 4:45 because I have a appointment with Uncle Robert to burn off the warts off my middle finger again. I have little baby warts that pop up in the same spot every six mths or so. Actually it isn't in the same spot, it is usually in a little different spot, but all the same, if I get them taken off ASAP then they are small and much less painful. I have had them for five years..it sucks.

Then on Thursday Sarah at Aunt Elieen's clinic is going to be doing the whole laser hair stuff on my legs and other spots like between eyebrows, armpits, etc. I am almost hairless and loving it. My legs are so nice, and Ku LOVES my hairless legs. He so didn't like the hair on my legs at all. So not having to shave is like ice cream, but Ku LOVING my legs is like a cherry on top.

I won't be posting till I come home, I am hoping that will be on Thursday night, but we shall see. I want to ask Aunt Julie if she needs color done on her hair, I am sure she does, so I will probably do that, if I can't do it on Thursday, I'll do it on Friday.

yea, Alec is maybe getting better

Well, he seems to be better today. For a short amount of time, his tummy was hurting him, but then after awhile, about a hour of not really doing anything but laying on his bean bag, he felt better. Yea, I am so happy that he might be over this weird flu bug.

Today we went to the Library to be apart of the story time. Alec does a good job for about 75 percent of the time, the other time I was telling him to sit down. He likes to stand in front of the lady that was reading the book, so he can really see the pictures well. Logan, just kinda wandered around, I was right there with him because he likes to climb on the small chairs and the small tables. he he, he is so dang cute.

After that, came home and I put Logan down for his nap. Then I started to clean the house because Nicole called and asked for a hair cut. So I picked up, and cleaned up. She called around two and didn't make it till almost six. Oh well, she didn't leave till ten. I cut and colored it. I foiled the top with 5R and 3N and some 5NB. It looked good. I used my fave highlighting way, the haring bone. So I hope she liked it.

Ku called and told me he did well on his test that he had today. I KNEW he would do well. He Aced it. He didn't get to study half as much as he would have liked to. And he wanted to go back to POST on Sunday in the morning, but I insisted that he go to sacrament meeting with me, and HF would help him on his test. I am so glad he did well. I know he will graduate at the top of his class, that is just how he is.

A hectic day at church

So today started out a okay day. Ku stayed till after sacrament and then he had to get on his way to POST. Sad, but true, he felt like he needed to go to POST early so he could study for a test that he has tomorrow. Guess this is what our life is going to be like for now on. We did get to go to Sacrament meeting together, and man oh man, I am so glad he was there to help me. The boys were extremely cranky, okay just Alec. He hasn't felt very good for a couple of days, so he was cranky and tired. Guess I can't blame him. For the last week, he has been throwing up every other day. And it isn't any particular food, because it started at my parents house in Ontario. And has happened a couple of times since. So all in all, he has thrown up around six times. And nobody else in our family has gotten sick. He hasn't been sleeping well either, cuz when he does throw up it seems to be at nighttime. So I put him in my bed, so that if he wakes up and needs to throw up it can be in a bowl, not on the bed. So far so good, he hasn't thrown up in the middle of the night.

Ku went back to POST and I am sad. It is really hard on the boys, and me to have him gone. And he is such a give all kinda person, all of his "all" is going to his school work, which is how it should be. Next week is his law week, and it will be the hardest week by far. I wish him best. We don't really have anything planned this next week, except maybe to go to Ontario to visit Tutu on Thursday, that is her day off. We shall see how it turns out.

Well, I am off to bed, I hate sleeping by myself in our big old bed. Oh well, you would think I was used to it by now. Cuz Ku has been doing grave yards off and on for the past three years. I suppose nobody ever gets used to it.

Saturday, October 14, 2006

Well, I have been thinking about entering the world of BLOGGING, and finaly decided this was a good way to write down things that I am thinking about and keeping a Jurnoal. And hopefully it will help me to learn to type faster. Well, Yesturday Ku came home from POST. It was so nice to have him home. It is hard to even think that he will have to go back to POST tomarrow, and I won't get to see him for another week or two. The Boys love him so much, they miss him. He is such a good daddy, and Alec and Logan both miss him TONS while he is gone. Logan and Alec both didn't want to leave his site when he first got home. They just wanted to play and sit on him all night. It was quite endering. Me, I was very content to sit back and enjoyed watching they be with him. I got my cuddling time after everyone was asleep. Then today, we hung out as a family, and then we went to walmart. Actualy that is where we were headed, but ended up at MCeyD's because Alec was oh so very hungry, and he had to go Potty, so we went to McDonald's to go potty, and eat off of the 99cent menu. Oh so nice that we could eat as a family for under 6 dollors. Given, Ku wasn't really satisfied because all he got was a double cheese burger, and he would have liked to have eaten more then one of those. More like four. hehe, but of course he couldn't. Actualy he would have really like to have eaten a HUGE fruit salad, but those are like five dollors, and man not really worth it. Such a rip off. Oh well. I ended up going to Walmart by myself because Ku needed to come home and start studying for a Big POST test that he has on Monday. Man, that guy gives himself so not enough credit. He is awesome, and yet, he wouldn't ever admit it.
