WOW, what a day. So much fun, and so many presents. We came to my parents house last night. Was it only yesterday that we came over here on Christmas Eve? Well, yesterday, after church, we spent the afternoon together, then around seven we started our own Christmas Eve Stuff. For the last two years, Ku has been gone on Christmas Eve, so this was quite a treat. Especially since Alec was able to really enjoy this holiday. We sang songs from the Hymnal, and then we read the Christmas Story. It was so nice. We really had a nice time. I will have to invest in a Christmas book about Santa for us. We also took a video pictures of the kids last night. It is going to be a tradition. A tradition that we interview the kids each year at Christmas time, and then as they get older, we will watch the amazing changes that the kids make every year.
This morning we woke up to Alec and Jesiah laughing. We layed Alec down in the same room. So they woke up together at 6am. We kept them in bed till 6:30 then I let them go for it. They first woke up Tutu and Papa, then they went and woke up Nicole and Ket. Then they went downstairs and ohhed and aweed over the Christmas Stockings, and the presents. It was a nice morning. Even though we as a Kahalekomo Family didn't have a lot to exchange, it was still nice. Ku and I didn't spend the money on each other, but we were able to get Alec and Logan a couple of presents the day after Thanksgiving sales. this is before we lost our job. So this was good that we were already done with that stuff. We gave Alec a remote control Hummer, and We gave Logan a small exercise Trampoline. Not so he can exercise, but because he loves to jump up and down, all the time. So this was perfect for him. We also, gave Alec a small tool set cabinet thingy. It is nice because from our good friends in Mtn Home, Nani, she gave Alec some more tools, so it went along perfectly. tutu and Papa gave Alec a Tinker Toys, which he loves because he can build things with them. And They gave Logan a couple of dump trucks. Grandma and Grandpa Warr gave Alec a towel that had Cars on it, and they gave Logan a race car. Which I had to keep away from Alec. Grandma and Grandpa Kahalekomo gave Alec and Logan both remote control cars, and these flashlights that change colors. which they both loved tons. Thank you to everyone shared in making our Christmas wonderful.
We are going back to Mountain Home tomorrow so we can finish patching up the wall in the Laundry Room, and then we are going to come back to Ontario on Thursday. At least that is the plan. This is what we need to do. the sooner Ku can get a job, the better.
