Well, back from a quick trip to Ontario. And a fun night last night at the Halloween Carnival at the middle school here in Mtn. Home. I went to Ontario on Sunday night to see a good friend of mine that came into town from AZ. I got together with her on Monday morning, for a couple of hours. How fun. She has a ten mth old little girl, and it was so fun to see Synthea. Then after visiting with Synthea, on Monday, mom and I went to Boise to help Grandma and Grandpa Dunn trim their hedges. They had some overgrown hedges, and I spend a few hours trimming them. They looked a whole lot better after I was done. Grandpa Dunn is doing a whole lot better. After his last surgery that took all his infection out of his system, he is walking better, and walking taller.
After trimming the hedges, mom treated us to some POJO'S. A fun pizza place for the kids. Nicole and the kids came over and ate with us. It was fun, we were there forever, like two or three hours.
On Tuesday, yesterday, we left in the morning, and I drove and spent some time with Nicole and her kids in the afternoon. It was fun, then we drove home. Alec dressed up again as a firefighter, and Logan again like a puppy. We went to the Halloween Carnival and did some fun games, and Alec got some good candy.
On Monday Ku had his BIG test which he had been studying for for two weeks. He did really well, he got a 96% and I am very proud of him. His whole class did really good. The average grade was a 90% and this was the first POST class to do that well. Also only one person failed the test, which is unheard of. Usually a lot more fail the test. So this other person is Ku's roomie, and he was helping him pass his retake. Which was this morning, I don't know how he did yet.
So today has been semi lazy, with the time change, the kids are waking up earlier than before, and we need to get used to the time change, so right now they are both taking naps. I might be headed off for one in a few minutes. After we wake up, this afternoon, I am going to a friends house to make a pie. She has a really good Rhubarb Pie recipe, and I want to learn how to make it. I am going to make it and take it to Thanksgiving dinner. YUM!!
The pictures of the kids are the Halloween pictures from our ward party. What cuties!!!
