preschool field trip

Alec had a lot of fun with his class. Here are a few pictures of him at the fire station. He had a lot of fun with his class. Of course since his grandfather (papa) is the Fire Chief, this is his play ground. The next pictures are of the kids taking a shower in my parents shower. It has taken Logan about 3 mths to decide that their huge walk in shower is a fun place to be. So this is the first time that he has enjoyed it. So I took pictures. Also, I finally figured out what was wrong with my camera. And why all the pictures were blurry... and it won't happen again, it was really starting to bug me.

Almost

The boys are almost better. I thought for sure that they were better, then Logan woke up this morning with a runny nose. So sad. But at least this time I am able to give him some stuff for his runny nose. Hopefully after these runny nose's and this cold, we will be done for awhile. We will go in and get a flu shot in the next week. We defiantly don't want to have the flu this winter. Last week we got a good mail from Grandma Sherry and Grandpa in Hawaii, thank you for the DVD's. Alec really enjoyed them. Logan will as he gets older.

sick

So the kids and I have been taking turns getting sick for the last two weeks. First they both had bad colds...and that is what we figured out when I thought it was allergies. But after going to Dr. Devoe, it was a confirmed cold. She gave us some good proscriptions for the boys, since I can't get anything over the counter anymore. It helped Alec and Logan sleep. Then this week, I got sick, I am just getting over it. The boys are better.

I forgot to mention that Alec is in Preschool. He is loving his preschool. Danita is his teacher, she is a Friend from Church, so he already knew her. He is doing really good. I am glad that I have him in this preschool. Danita doesn't put up with any crap, so that is good. Alec minds her, and that is one of the biggest reasons I put him into preschool, so that he can learn to behave by someone other then me. Which he is doing well.

Sunday

Alec, he isn't sleeping very well. He has allergies, and nothing right now seems to be working to help him breath. So he isn't sleeping threw the night deeply. He woke up and his eyes looked like he hadn't slept at all last night. So around ten, I decided that I would stay home and put him back to sleep. So he went to sleep from 11-2pm. He felt much better after his nap. I missed church. But Alec is feeling so much better after the nap. the only problem is that now, tonight, he won't go to sleep as easily.

So yesterday was Alec's first day of Preschool. He had So much fun. He goes to preschool three days a week for two hours. It is so nice, just Logan and I time. That is fun. And when we were driving out to the preschool, he asked me, "mom when I get older, will you buy me a car so I can drive to preschool." hehe, it was so funny. What a cutie....

Logan is not ready to potty train yet. We spent all day on Sun. I thought I got some headway, but alas, he still pee'ed all over me. I think I will give it a month and try again next month. :( Man diapers are spendy, I can't wait till I don't have that expense!

Potty Training

Well, I have started the official potty training....yeah. Logan did good yesterday. we didn't make it to church because he kept 'wanting' to sit on the toilet. So Logan and I stayed home and worked on going potty. I can see that this will be a whole week thing. He did well, he did pee on me a couple of times, but he went the majority of the time in the toilet. YEAH that is the goal.

I am so ready

I am so ready for Logan to be potty trained. I am going to train him....this week!!! at least that is my ambitious. He pooped three times today. He isn't ready, but I am SO ready to train him. We shall see. I am more then ready!!! now lets see if we can do this....

On Sunday, Alec and Logan BOTH stayed in their own class without me having to be there with them. I AM SO EXCITED!!! that is so aswesome. Yesturday Logan didn't have his diaper on, and he thought he was so cool. He was jumping all over my bed, having a marry old time. Then all of a sudden, he thought it would be equally fun to PEE on my bed...ugh....but it was still funny

Logan turned two

Logan has turned two. He turned two last week, what a cuttie. I am so BLESSED. We had a nice little party last Saturday. It was just family, we had a ice cream cake and good food for everyone. Everyone was here. I bought Logan a tricycle. for his birthday, it was 40 bucks...a little much for me, so it came from my parents also. Kulani sent Logan some toys, which he really likes. Especially the Mr. Potato head. My grandparents gave him a card, and another set gave him some cloths...it was a nice birthday for Logan.

We went to Roaring Springs yesterday. It is the first time in a long for the kids and I to go in a long time. It was fun. I had a hard time focusing. But the kids had a lot of fun. Anyway, after Roaring Springs, we went to a friends house that lives in Nampa. She is my old classmate from Cosmetology school. We had SO much fun catching up.Today at Swimming lessons, everything was going normal until Logan decided to take his shorts off. Yes, he just sat down in the water and took off his shorts....it was so funny. He was free as a jay bird!

You have got to try this, it was SO good. And it sounds wierd, but it was again SO good. I personally give it a 10 out of 10.

Meaty Mexican Lasagna
Serves 6

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
2 medium green bell peppers, seeded, deribbed and sliced
8 ounces diced green chilies
1 pound cooked lean ground beef (or whatever is on sale)
1 tsp ground cumin
1 (14.5-oz.) can diced tomatoes, undrained
1/3 cup chopped cilantro
Salt and pepper, to taste
9 ounces corn tortillas
1 (16-oz.) can vegetarian refried beans
2 cups shredded Pepper Jack cheese
1 cup diced black olives
Sour Cream (optional)

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Lightly grease a 9- x 13-inch baking dish.

Brown beef add cumin. Set aside

In a large skillet over medium heat, saute onion, bell pepper and chilies for 2 to 4 minutes, or until onion has softened. Add cooked beef, tomatoes, cilantro and salt and pepper to taste; bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, cut tortillas in half and place a layer on the bottom of the baking dish, overlapping as needed. Spoon about 1 cup of the sauce over the tortillas; top with one-third of the refried beans, one-third of the cheese and one-third of the olives. Repeat layers until you end with a layer of tortillas.

Bake, uncovered, for 20 to 25 minutes or until casserole is warmed through and cheese is melted.

Top with sour cream, if desired.

Per Serving: 528 Calories; 33g Fat; 27g Protein; 31g Carbohydrate; 6g Dietary Fiber; 90mg Cholesterol; 607mg Sodium. Exchanges: 1 1/2 Grain (Starch); 3 1/2 Lean Meat; 1 1/2 Vegetable; 0 Fruit; 4 1/2 Fat. Points: 13

SERVING SUGGESTION: A big salad.

Tuesday

The kids are in bed right now, and I am checking my blogs, and watching The Work and The Glory III. It is kinda difficult to watch and type at the same time. The kids are still working at going to bed. Alec is because he fell asleep today, and that never makes for a good and quick nights. In fact, i have even turned off his light...which I never do, cuz he hates it. And I have also taken his books away. Again he hates that. He usually reads and till he falls asleep, which doesn't take very long. I am also figuring that when i go back up to bed, he is going to be asleep in Logan's bed. he has done this once before, fallen asleep on Logan's bed. They were asleep together. It is really cute. But it wakes the wake up really early together. So I will be moving Alec off of Logan's bed if this is the case.

Swimming lessons is going good. And I think I mentioned it, that I am cooking my main meal at lunch, and it is very nice to have the main meal at noon or one. Today we had Mexican Lasagna, it was SO good. I give it a 10. And yesterday we had Chicken Fajita. So yum.

Lava is Pregnant. She is getting so big. She is due around the fourteenth of may. I am excited about this. I pray that we have more then four. Seven like last year would be great.

wednesday

well hopefully it is a new day. For a couple of days, I have been thinking I was getting sick. My mom was REALLY sick last week, and so this week when I started to feel unwell, I just figured that it was cuz I was getting whatever she had. I had hot flashes, and I was achy. But this morning I am feeling MUCH better. So that is great news. Logan on the other hand, he did get really sick last night. He was really whiny while I was getting dinner ready. He wouldn't let me put him down. Then when we all sat down for dinner, he really kicked the whininess up a notch. He started to cry, then he cried harder. I put him over my shoulder, and he threw up. Oh man, it was so gross. Luckily, it wasn't on carpet. So since I am now covered in throwup, I have lost my ability to eat, and I went upstairs to jump in the shower with Logan. So we shower, and get dressed. Then I hold him while he falls asleep. It is around 6pm. He wakes up at 7, and is awake, but tired for about a hour. Then he throws up again, and promptly falls asleep. Here I put him in the pack and play, downstairs and get comfy for a long night on the couch. He woke up a few times, and didn't throw up. So around 3 I took him back upstairs to sleep, and he sleep till 7:15. Not long enough. But I didn't get a whole lot of sleep. But I do feel better, hopefully he is better now, and I am done trying to get sick.

i have been doing really good about working out, but this morning Logan won't let me put him down. So I will have to do sit ups, or something later.

Thursday

So this week has flown by. I haven't been on the computer very much because Ku is starting school again, and he uses the computer for school.

The workers are here finally working on my mom's house. It is going to be so pretty once it is finally finished. It is about time. The tile layers and other workers have been laid up by the plumier. the plumier that was suppose to be here to do the pluming was too busy to be just here. So he has been doing a little bit here and there. So nobody could do their job till he was done. Finally after four mths, he was far enough done that other could come do there own work.

It is finally warm enough to go outside and really enjoy the days. It is around 70 today, so I think i will take the kids to the park. Yea, we love the park. Alec is doing good. He just has been loving Logan, they get along so well.

Sunday is my mom's birthday, as well as Easter. So Nicole planned the dinner, and it is here at mom's house. So I guess that means that I am cleaning the house. Oh yea, now that is so super duper exciting.

Logan is in a big boy bed now. It has been kinda hard because he went to bed SO easy in his crib, I wasn't sure I was really ready for the change, but we took the crib down on Sunday, so I knew it was time. Alec sleeps on the top bunk, and Logan is sleeping on the bottom. So it works. I was a little worried that Alec would try to keep Logan up at night, but so far, Alec is asleep really fast, and so that is helpful.

on our way

Well today we are on our way to pack up our house. Since we have sold our Washer and Dryer to Nicole and Ket, and my dad is going over to Mtn Home tomorrow to help them pick them up, we decided this would be the best time to get everything out of the house. We really don't have a ton of big things left. We have already sold our piano, table and chairs, love Sac, entertainment center, Washer and Dryer, couches. So most of our major big stuff. So today we are going to pack up our kitchen, and the rest of our cloths. And books and stuff. So here we go, to finish off our stuff. So sad. Now I just wish we could sell our HOUSE! Hopefully things will pick up soon, and we'll see some action.

Good Mail

We got two good mail's in the mail today. Both from Andrea. THANKS ANDREA!!! one was for Alec, and he absolutly loved his his.

And then the mail for me... Andrea is a jewl, she sent me some good mail. I love the candles, and mini scrapbook. Thanks your are awesome.

RS dinner Recipies

Okay ladies, here are the recipes for my RS dinner

Kalua Pig (pit pig)
3-4 lbs of Pig Shoulder or Butt
1 tsp of Liquid smoke for every pound of pig
Rock or Sea Salt

instructions:
put the pig and liquid smoke in the crock pot. Cook on low for 14-16 hours. Till it is easily shredded. Shred after has cooked. And let it soak and cook for another 30 minutes. After about 30 minutes, add the Salt. Add the Salt to taste. to add the salt, add a little at a time. Taste it, add more salt. Taste more. There is a fine line between too much salt and not enough. serve on Rice.

Mac Salad
A bag of Macaroni noodles
Best food Mayonnaise
Carrots
Pickles
Hard Boiled Eggs
Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions:
Boil noodles. Add mayonnaise, carrots, pickles, eggs, and salt and pepper. Add everything to taste. Here is a example for one bag of noodles. I would add three carrots, three pickles, two eggs. And Salt and pepper. My Husband has said that the key to this salad is to use Best Food Real Mayo. Also as a not, if you want to eat this as a main meal, you can add caned chicken, or tuna.

Ket's Gourmet Green Beans
1 Red Onion
2-3 pounds of Green Beans
1 TBS. Garlic
1/4 cup of Soy Sauce
1 TBS. Olive Oil

I a skillet on HIGH, heat up oil. Then Add Garlic and saute. Add Slice Onions and Saute for a couple of minutes. Then add the Green Beans, and Soy Sauce. Saute everything for about ten minutes. The beans should not be mushy, but not so uncooked that you can't eat them. They should be somewhat crunchy.

Friday

So I am sitting her catching up on my blogs. Ku is at work, and the boys are asleep. So it is quite time for me. My mom borrowed my car so she could go to Boise because my sister and her family have been sick for around a week. Ket has been sick with maybe the flu, then he started in with a sinus infection. Poor guy, and it gets worse. Come to find out that the sinus infection was connected to his wisdom teeth that needs to be pulled. So today after he got off work (he hasn't stopped going to work in all of this cuz he is in charge) he went to the Dentist to get them pulled. That sucks for him. Kassia has had the flu, and Jessiah has been kinda sick. So Nicole has had to handle EVERYTHING for almost two weeks, not to mention that Kason is almost 2mths old.

This week has flown by for us. On Thursday I went to a all morning and afternoon scrap booking at the church. It wasn't as productive as I would have liked. I spent the first two hours being a referee between the kids. And Logan was crying at my feet. So I went home for lunch, and then that afternoon the kids were MUCH better. I guess they just wanted to eat. Although I did have some snacks at the church for them, but I guess they wanted the cheese casadilla that I made when we got home. :)

On Friday I had been wanting to go to Boise to do some shopping, and exchanging, but then I found out that I would get to go to Boise and visit Windy, so I am putting it off till tomorrow. So Tomorrow, I am going to go to Boise to spend the day with Windy and also do my errands. Fun Fun stuff.

Well, i must be off. I am so tired. And Ku has school tomorrow, so it isn't like I get to sleep in. So I best be off.

Saturday

Wow, it is Saturday already. This week has gone by pretty fast. Since Wednesday was Valentine's day, I will talk a bit about that.
The rest of the week, I have been trying not to get sick. I have felt a tad bit on the sick side all week. I have a stuffy nose, so I am thinking that I just have a little cold. It has been so nice here lately. the weather is super nice. It is like 50 something, it is starting to look a little bit like spring time. Which reminds me, I need to go outside sometime and plant the bulbs.

Today I have gotten a lot done. I have managed to hold my cool together the whole day. I even had Noah here also, so I am excited to say that I must be praying for enough patience, because today has been good. I was able to fold most of the laundry, like 5 loads, and I made or should I say prepared dinner around noon. It is chili, in the crock pot, so it was super easy. I always feel so much better about everything when i am able to get dinner ready and n the table when ku gets home from school. Alec had his activity day with the primary today. That is so neat that he is old enough to go to primary activities. He did good, and I have instructed him to behave.

Well off to set the table, and get it ready for Ku. Oh and Nicole isn't having Kason blessed till the first of March. So not tomorrow after all.

Tuesday

As I sit here watching that 70's Show. Hehe, this show just makes me laugh. Anyway as I am just sitting here watching it, I was debating wither or not I was going to post about my day. I was trying to figure out if it was worth it or not. but then I remember that I had a cool experience yesterday. To start off I have starting teaching swimming lessons again. I am teaching a class at 4:45, and also at 6pm. It is fun. I have missed teaching. It just makes things a little tighter because I need to have dinner ready before I go to class. But it is all good. Logan is in my 6pm parent tot class, and Alec is in Level 1.5 at 6:30. I wanted to put him in level 2, but the only class that was level 2 was with a few kids that were like 12 and 13 so I decided to put him in the lower level. He is way better then the other two girls. But oh well. He at least gets to be in the water.

Anyway, when I was done with my first class I was approached by a girl and she knew me from good old Mormon Chic. It was so wierd, and kinda cool that she recognized me from my picture. It floored me that someone called me 'luvmyboys' . hehe.

Today at 10am we went to a play group. It was a playgroup that I went to when I was here before, and it was a group party for Valentines day. Alec and Logan had a lot of fun. I have been trying to go for awhile, but kept forgetting on Tuesday mornings. I don't think I will forget now. I know how much the kids like to break away from the normal day.

Also I guess the last thing that I wanted to say is that a couple of girls and I are starting a work out group. We are going to the gym at the church and taking turns doing different steps. Yea, a work out that is kid friendly. The kids just play around in the gym while we are trying to work out. I did it yesterday at nine am. And tomorrow I am going again. yea, I would like to get a little more toned.

Monday

wow, well this is yet another week. this last weekend was good. I was a bit stressed on Saturday because I was by myself all day. Ku was in school, and it wouldn't have been that stressful but I was bye myself all day on Friday also. Ku was in school from 8-5pm then at 6:30 h wet to a all buy party, where they played x-box 360. Where they stayed till midnight. I am glad he could be there to unwind from a long week of school and work, so it was good. I would really like a girls night out. On Sunday we went to church, then we went to a Superbowl party. We went to the peaches house. It wasn't a big party, just a get together. We had so much fun. the kids really had so much fun. They always have fun. Wish they lived closer. It is a nice release and it makes our day different.

Pierre was put to sleep today. Dad had to be the one to hold him, because there is no way for mom to have been able to handle that. I couldn't have done it. It was hard enough knowing it was being done. I have been kinda blue today, I am sure it is because of this.

wow, friday already

I wanted to take pictures of the kids, so I caught Logan in a smile. then Alec wanted a picture taken, and so I went to take a picture of him. Well, he kept shaking his head back and forth, as well as moving his body back and forth...with a smile. So I told him that if he wanted a picture he needed to hold his head still..... :)

Wow, is it Friday already. I spent the day cleaning up a bit. At least the clutter. I guess it never ends. Logan took a nap today, and he slept for like three hours. So nice. Alec hasn't taken a nap so hopefully he goes to bed around seven thirty. Oh wait, he did sleep for about 5 minutes this after noon in the car. When Logan woke up, I wanted to make cookies, okay just the dough. Anyway, I couldn't because I didn't have any eggs. So when Logan woke up, I ran to the store, and did a couple of other errands.

Yesterday, we found out that Pierre is sick. He has Liver failure. If he went on meds, he would only live for maybe 6mths to a year. And in the meantime, he is getting weaker and weaker. he is bloating right now. He is retaining water. And his muscles are deterating. So my parents are putting him down. He is only 10 yrs old. So sad. the vet said that a dog's life is shorter if he is a purebred, and if he hasn't been neutered. Also, if he is a inside dog. so that is three strikes for Pierre. He is being put down on Monday. My dad has to do it because he is my mom's dog, and she can't handle it.. Ku will help my dad dig he grave.

On a lighter note, I wanted to take pictures of the kids. So I took some of Logan, and Alec. But Alec kept moving his body back and forth, I asked him to hold still, but he thought it was funner to move. So I said "Alec if you want me to take your picture you need to hold your head still." so what does he do? He holds his head still...so dang cute.

So today started out a boring normal day, till my sister called to find out if we were doing anything. She decided to come and spend the day with us. Yea, Nicole and her kid came to play. So the house got real full real fast. i made Mac and Cheese (homemade) with hotdogs for lunch. And for dinner I planned a Lasagna.

They got here, and Alec went CRAZY. He just had a ball with Jesiah and Kassia. Also, she brought my newest nephew Kason. Yea. they just played all day. On the Foosball table, as well as going outside. They had a blast.



I also have been having a kinda Modbe bash. Modbe is ON SALE!!! most of there shirts re 5 dollars, and a few kinds are 7.50 and 10 dollars. So between me and my sister, and a few friends, we all ordered 467 dollars worth, and like probley 100 shirts or so. So fun!! now when they get here, I will have the privilege of separating them and delivering them. Fortunately they were mostly my sisters, so it won't be that hard. Considering the Cami's and cap sleeve's are usually between 12-18 dollars, this was such a DEAL. Also they had belts that were three for $1.00 AND all there flip flops are $1.00. They have like six colors, so I bought all of them. Heck for $1.00 per sandal, it is a STEAL!!

Yesterday was good, Sacrament meeting was about being a mother, and the different aspects of it. Can I just mention, that being a mother is so rewarding to me. I love it. I love my kids, and yes sometimes I am grumpy, but I want and feel like more children are awaiting my love and support. I just wish we were in a position have more sooner then later. It will be awhile yet before we are able to feel like we can have another baby. But maybe Heavenly Father might have other plans. we shall see.
I forgot to mention on Saturday that I watched Pride and Prejudice (like the long version) all day. It was so fun. I love that movie. Or those movies, on VHS it is like 6 tapes long. On DVD it is 2. But it is still a movie that lasts all day.
For the super Bowl, we were suppose to go to the Peaches for a little shindigs, it would have been fun, but alas, Rodney is going to pick up there truck in the East. They finally bought it, and it is something that he flys there and drives it back. It will be so nice for Lisa to have a car, after Rodney has the truck. So the Super Bowl party is cancelled.
Noah is here today, him and Alec are having fun playing and getting into trouble together. So fun.
A friend of mine is going in for a historcmey (spelling?) on Wednesday, I feel so bad for her. She has endometriosis, and is past the child bearing days. Some girls in the ward, and I are getting together to give her a gift basket and other things.

Saturday

What a day. It feels like I was busy all day, but yet when I think back to what I really did, well it wasn't that much. :) It started around 6am with Alec coming to wake us up. We try to let him know that it is still sleeping time because the Sun hasn't come up yet, but he doesn't believe us. Oh well. Ku got up and went to school this morning, his class was today from 8-5pm, what a long class. But it only takes this class four times to meet, and they are done, and get the credit. So for four LONG days, they get credit. Ku said it is a hard class, but not much homework because most of the stuff is done in class. And doing class this way, I don't see him having to do many outside projects since it is only two weekend. He started the class yesterday, and will be done next Saturday. Wow that is fast.

I signed Alec up for a class at the Rec department for this morning at 9am. It was from 9-noon. He frosted cupcakes, and made different ground hog crafts. He enjoyed it, and I am so glad that I am doing this. This is going to help him to learn to be calm durning his real preschool experience which should start next year fall.

Logan is such a cutie, he just runs around and is always smiling. Not much to report with him. He is such a wonderful and happy baby. Oh wait, he is 18 mths old, he isn't a baby. Oh so sad. Noah came over today, and he and Alec were suppose to take a nap. (in different rooms) but neither one of them wanted to have anything to do with a nap. So after them being in the rooms for quite time for TWO hours, I went up and got them out. I didn't want them to wounder into Logan's room and wake him up.

Ku came home around five, and I had a stir fry ready. It was good, it was a stir fry with pork chop strips, and green, red, yellow peppers. Yum. I love my menu's. We were suppose to go play games with some friends, but they ended not being able to play. So I watched a movie about the Salam Witch Tirals. Not a fun time in American History.

Thursday

Today has been a slow day. Nothing much has been going on. I have still been reading books. I really need to stop reading books. It makes it really hard for me to do much of anything besides take care of my kids. It makes it hard to clean, but I work at it. :) Noah came over to spend time today with us. Alec went and Oh hung out with Annie today, she was with some kids that she watched and they have a four year old Tyler. Maybe he is five. I am not sure, but Alec doesn't really care how old someone is because he just enjoys playing with anyone. Logan slept for four hours today. He went down at 11am, cuz he was so tired, and then he stayed down till around 3 or so. So nice. I got a little nap, in between reading my book. :) Then tonight, I went to a pampered chef party. Only three people including myself showed up. So sad. epically since I do not have any place for any thing to buy, not to mention I defiantly don't have the money for anything extra right now. It wasn't as nice to go to the party because she didn't cook anything really yummy thing. She made a taco soup. it was good, but I look forward to other sweets. Oh well, I came home to my Lasagna that I made for the kids. It was good. Ku went to work tonight. Yea, I think they called him in, cuz he wasn't suppose to work tonight.

Monday

Well it is the beginning of the week. Our weekend went by pretty fast. On Saturday, we went to Mt. Home so we could check on our house, as well as let the person that was buying our Love Sac in and get it. Also, we left Pierre with a friend there, hoping that they would want to keep him. Alas, they called, and decided that they can't have him. so today, I am going to go to Boise so i can pick him up.

Alec can Count to 10 all by himself. this is a skill that he has mastered in the last week. How fun, he loves to count. Now we can tackle the ABC's. Alec and Logan are both feeling well now. Finally Logan is over the cold he got from RSV. He does have a slight cough left, but that is all. He and Alec had good naps yesterday after church. But man, the last couple of weeks Alec has been talking a nap because he has been sick. Now that he is better, we will have to limit his naps, or make them shorter, under a hour Last night putting him to bed was a nightmare. Actually the last couple of nights, it was a nightmare to put him to bed.

Ku and I had the Grigg's over on Friday night to play a game of Cranium, and the girls beat the guys. It was a fun game. Then on Saturday night we went over to a friends house for a small get together. It was fun.

Right now as Ku is at the Gym. He is working hard at the gym, he wants to get back into cage fighting. We shall see.

Tuesday Morning

wow, whenever I read a book, it seems like I can't find the time to blog as well. Just because I like to read so much, and I don't want to blog if I have a good book awaiting my eyes. :) So alas, I started a book on Saturday, and finished it last night.

Sunday was kinda interesting because I had decided when my kids got sick, not to take them to Church. So on Sunday non of us were going to go to church, but my mom suggested that Ku and i go by ourselves. ok...so we went. And it was pretty not normal to have our kids with us. It was so quite, but I really missed them, just like I do whenever i am someplace without them. So Ku and I got home, ad mom was happy to have us back. The kids got pretty rambunctious. So by now, Alec is feeling good. His nose has stopped running, but Logans is starting to run. Oh how fun. So Logan is now the one that isn't feeling well. Not as bad a Alec, but his nose is running. That night some friends invited us over for a game. I left Logan, but took Alec. He had fun, but didn't want to come home and go to bed. I went back to the Grigg's home till around midnight

Monday was a fun day too. This was the last day for Jessiah and Kassia to be here. Mom and Dad were taking them home. Also Ku and I had plans with the Peach's to go to Nampa to play all day. By play I mean we went to their YMCA to work out, and go to there pool. It was fun. Ku and Rodney worked out, and Lisa and I worked out. While the kids were in there play center we had fun on the weights. Then after we worked out, we went to the pool with the kids. That was fun. Alec had SO much fun, just like he always does whenever we go into the water. We went on he slide, and it was a fun slide. It was high, and had a lot of turns and twists. Logan had fun too, he walked around and played in the water. The Chlorine was pretty high in the pool area, so we had to cut our fun a bit short.

Tuesday was yesterday, Logan got a bit worse with his nose. His nose just runs, and runs. So he slept a lot yesterday, and then after a lot of sleep, he played and was happy again. Alec misses Jessiah and Kassia. He kept asking for them. Today Noah is coming over so he doesn't get the Flu. His grandfather on that usually helps watch him, is sick. He has the flu, so krys was wondering what was the worse of the two evils. A cold or Flu. So he is coming over here. Alec will be happy, he so loves to play with his cousins.

Saturday

We today is Saturday, and Nicole is doing well. She called yesterday and told us that her doctor isn't too worried about the new baby (Kayson) getting RSV or Strep because she is breast feeding. So she wants her kids to come home tomorrow. Dad called today He has been out of town, and said that if the kids could wait till Monday morning, mom and dad were making a trip to Boise anyway, and they would take the kids back that day. I still need to call Nicole and let her decide if that is okay. They are going to Boise to pick out new fixtures for there bedroom that is being redone.

The Peaches are coming over tonight. We are going to order Pizza, and watch movies with the kids. It will be fun. They rented George the Monkey ( I think) so the kids can watch that until it is time for them to go to bed. It will be fun.

All the kids are down taking naps right now. At least that is what is 'suppose' to be happening because they got up at 6:30am. Nicoles kids aren't used to getting up that early. But here they are. So it is early mornings with them. Alec is fighting sleep, but Kassiah and Jesiah are both asleep. Alec isn't one that likes naps, but goodness he needs them.

Mom is skiing today. So seriously what would this family do if I was still in Mountain Home? They need me. :)

Crazy Day

So we start off this day with four kids, and well they are all still alive. :)

At 11am this morning I took my two kids in for there well baby checkup, and there vaccinations. Alec got two shots (which included the flu shot) and Logan got three shots (also included the flu shot) I held Logan while he got his shot, and I was too busy with Logan helping him not cry, that another nurse had to come in to hold Alec down for his shots. Now, shots at Alec age is way worse because they KNOW when something bad can happen, and they can TELL you about it. After the nurse left, he was upset with her for hurting him. :( So sad. Now on to the bad news, they both have RSV AND STREP. UGH, what the heck, both at the same time. When neither one of them have ever had either one. So now, that Jesiah and Kassiah, are here, we are washing hands like crazy and using hand sanitizer. I am trying to prevent them from getting these two things. It wouldn't be so bad, but if they do get them, they CANT go home and be with mommy and new brother. Because those two things can be very bad for infants. So I feel so bad. I pray that they wont' get infected with it. This would be terrible for them. Just because then they can't see there new brother for like a week or so. Good news is that my other nephew from another sister isn't infected with either one. So that is good news for Noah.

All the kids did well, they played for the most part together well. They played with tinker toys. And made airplanes, and space ships, as well as swords. Mom Ku and I gave them baths, and brushed there teeth and they all went to bed by 8:00pm. That will be our sanity. The nights without loudness. That will be nice.

Well today has been another early day...ugh, why is this so all of a sudden? I got up early because I thought I was needing to get to Boise this morning by 9am to pick up Nicole's Kids from her neighbor's house. This is where they were staying till I could come get them. Nicole was induced at 7am this morning. As Nicole was on her way to the hospital, she called and told me that I didn't need to be to Boise till noon, so well now I was up. I did get to spend time with just me and Alec, so that made it worth it. But I was again up at five in the morning. Showered and ready by 6. Alec still is pretty stuffed up. The good news is that he is easy to get to bed when he doesn't feel well. Can i mention that putting the boys in the same room was SO much easier then I thought it would be. I think that Alec is easier to put to bed now then he ever was before. i think this could be not only his age, but also because he likes having Logan in his room. And Logan likes it, he just talks and talks till he falls asleep. Alec usually falls asleep before Logan does.

Back to Nicole, she had a healthily baby boy at around 10:45am. Fast I know. But he came out at 21 inches, and 7lbs 10 oz. he was a week early. I took Jesiah and Kassiah over to see them around 11:15 and we left at noon. Nicole needed to sleep. His name is Kayson like Jason, but with a K. How fun is that.

Logan was with me all day, and he had fun with Nicole's Kids. Alec stayed with ku till mom came over after work. So that way, Alec didn't make it to the hospital where he could have gotten someone else sick. I am just amazed that I haven't gotten sick, or Logan, or Ku. What a blessing that we haven't gotten sick. I pray that we don't. We really don't need anyone else to get sick. I am taking both kids in for well baby checkups tomorrow at 11am. I am happy, cuz Alec is sick anyway, so it is just a good timing.

Ku's second class went well. Tonight he went from 4-6. It wasn't suppose to end till 8ish, but 6 is good. he said there wouldn't be a lot of homework for this class, and that will be good to give him time for the other homework.

Happy New YEAR 2007

Wow, is it 2007 already? What a way to begin the year. First of all, the BSU won the Fiesta Bowl. It was such a amazing game. Ku and I went to Nampa to watch the game with our good friends Rodney and Lisa. Rodney is such a Football Nut. He LOVES football!!! He had just gotten a new Large FLAT SCREEN HDTV for Christmas. So I think that maybe he got it so he could watch games better. :) Lisa and I took our two older kids to a movie durning the first half of the game. That way, Rodney and Ku could REALLY enjoy the game. Which they did. Then we came back for the second half, and wow, what a game it was.

Alec got sick at there house. I don't really know what he has, but that was on Monday, and he still is sick. It started off with just a upset stomach and throwing up, but now it is a fever, and diarriah. (I am sure you wanted to know the details) but he is still feeling crappy.

My parents went to the Fiesta Bowl, and had a blast. They were so into the game, I know they were glad they bought the tickets for this game. They went to it, and took Ginger to the game too. Ginger lives in Phenox AZ, so it was a great reason to go and see her, as well as the game. They come home tomorrow in the afternoon. So when they get here, I want the house to be cleaned. Since Alec has been so sick, I haven't been cleaning like I should. But I have been cleaning OUT junk. So that feels nice. There really is something to spring cleaning. If you do it, it won't pile up. I am almost done with Ku's and my room. For now, it is where we will call home.

Logan hasn't gotten sick, but he is such a cutie. the picture that i am posting is a picture of him feeding berries to himself, he did this on Monday. And wow, what a mess he made.
